Meth Lab Bust, 3 Kids Removed

CANNON (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A meth lab is confiscated and three children have been removed for the home.

The Van Buren County Sheriff's Narcotics detectives received a tip of a possible drug house at 401 Arlington St. in the City of Bangor.

The home was searched and detectives found a meth lab in a shed on the property. Three children ranging in ages from 11 to 17-years old were turned over the Child Protective Services.

The DEA was contacted to clean up and dispose of the hazardous waste. Police confiscated a truck which was used to pickup pseudoephedrine and other components.

A 33-year-old male subject, who has a previous meth lab charge, was transported to the Van Buren County Jail.

Charges are still pending on the homeowner, a 34-year-old Female, a 32-year old Kalamazoo male and 42-year-old Kalamazoo female for maintaining a meth lab.

The incident remains under investigation.
