Huge meth bust spans counties
CASS COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three people were arrested on Friday in connection with the manufacture of methamphetamine across multiple counties.
One man was arrested in the village of Cassopolis while in possession of meth and components to manufacture. Another man was arrested near the intersection of Crooked Creek and Brownsville Road for maintaining a meth lab in a house.
During a search of that home, police found a dismantled meth lab.
A third man was arrested during a traffic stop in Cass County for possession of components to manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house along with other charges.
All three men were taken to the Cass County Jail.
Three children were found living at the house where the meth lab was discovered. They are now with Child Protective Services.
This matter is still under investigation.
