Court hearing resumes in Mich. kidnap, slaying

EASTPOINTE, Mich. (AP) - A Detroit-area judge will hear more evidence and decide whether two 17-year-olds should go to trial in the abduction and fatal shooting of a young man from Macomb County.

The body of Matt Landry was found in August in an abandoned house in Detroit, four days after he was last seen outside a Quiznos shop in Eastpointe.

Ihab Maslamani and Robert Taylor are charged with murder and other crimes. A witness last week identified Maslamani as the person who forced the 21-year-old Landry back into his car.

The court hearing resumes Thursday in 38th District Court in Eastpointe.
