IONIA/KENT COUNTIES (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Two men from the east side of the state face charges in West Michigan.

State police say the guys were racing their motorcycles on I-96 in Ionia County.

When troopers tried to pull them over the guys took off.

The bikers eventually split up near the Ionia/Kent County line.

One of them took an exit right before Kent County and ended up at a party store near Saranac. A trooper arrested him there.

The other man got off I-96 at Alden Nash Avenue. Troopers from both Rockford and Ionia set up a perimeter and caught him a short time later.

Both men are from Warren.
