Sunshine, But Not Much Heat

A cold, dry air mass settles in over West Michigan today.  The drier air means we'll see some sunshine.  But despite the sun, temps will be colder than average.  Today's highs will be in the middle 20s -- close to ten degrees colder than average.  A little lake effect snow is possible, mainly west of US 131, with little or no accumulation expected.

The weather will remain relatively quiet through late Wednesday, when another disturbance will bring snow to West Michigan.  Forecast models indicate another shot of Arctic air will be arriving to kick off the new year.  Remember to stay with Newschannel 3 and wwmt.com for the latest weather information.
