Being aware of motorcycles

MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Plenty of people are ditching four wheels for two to beef up their gas mileage.
In recent years motorcycle ridership has increased nearly 20 percent in Michigan.
Transportation leaders want to make sure safety on the roads increases too.
Michigan's Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land will kick off Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month Monday in Lansing.
She'll talk about things like classes and registration and there will also be a motorcycle safety demonstration.
