MUSKEGON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Another West Michigan paper mill says it is closing for good.
Sappi in Muskegon announced on Wednesday that it will officially close up shop.
The move will affect 190 workers at the mill. Those employees have been on furlough since March, when operations at the mill were suspended.
Sappi blames the closure on weak worldwide demand for coated fine paper.
