Muskegon getting year-round luge track
Comments 0 | Recommend 0MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) - Muskegon is getting one of the first year-round luge tracks in North America.
The 328-foot-long wheeled-luge track is part of a large package of improvements planned for the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex at Muskegon State Park.
The improvements are aimed at increasing recreation opportunities for people with disabilities.
They also include an accessible pathway to Lost Lake and better access to the complex's lodge.
The improvements are being made possible by a $700,000 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek.
