Loans from the state for ex-employees of Pfizer
Comments 0 | Recommend 0KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Pfizer recently announced almost 300 job cuts, but there is some good news for former Pfizer employees.
Governor Jennifer Granholm announced three high-tech companies in Kalamazoo will get loans from the state to help hire former Pfizer scientists.
Ceetox, Forensic Fluids and Unifab will get $150,000 each.
The state is also giving $1.5 million to help transform the former Pfizer facility in Plymouth Township into a life science and innovation center.
