Portage girl charged in overdose death
Comments 0 | Recommend 0PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Portage Police and the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor's Office have charged 17-year-old Carrie Wickham of Portage in connection with the June 27 drug overdose death of 18-year-old Amy Bousfield.
Wickham was arraigned in the 8th District Court on a charge of Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death and was released on a Personal Recognizance bond.
The investigation is continuing and investigators are working towards additional arrests.
The Portage Police Department says they are committed to the continued enforcement of these crimes.
