Granholm: Mich. jobless rate dips to 15.1 percent

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm says that the state's unemployment rate dipped slightly in October to 15.1 percent.
That would be down from a national high of 15.3 percent in September.
The Detroit Free Press says Granholm made the comments Wednesday after an appearance at Michigan State University.
The official state unemployment report for October is expected to be released later Wednesday.
