NEAR LOWELL (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An armed standoff in Kent County has ended peacefully Tuesday morning.
Sheriff's deputies say it all began around 11 o'clock Monday night at a home near Lowell.
When a husband threatened his wife with a handgun, she took off leaving their 2-year-old son behind.
Deputies went there to question the man but he wouldn't come out and a six hour standoff ensued.
They finally got him to come out just before 6:00 Tuesday morning. His little boy was okay.
We're following this story to see if that man will face charges Tuesday.
