Weather Story
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The cooler air has returned to West Michigan and is here to stay for at least the next week or two. Scattered light snow showers will be possible today, with steadier snow moving in by this evening and overnight. Accumulations during the daylight hours will be fairly unimpressive; likely less than an inch for most inland locations. Another 2 or 3 inches will be possible from Saturday evening through Sunday evening. Higher amounts will be possible near the lake shore.
Sunday night into Monday we will see more lake effect snow showers with a northwest wind. This will set up the typical lake effect bands southwest of a line from Holland to Battle Creek. High pressure will bring a day of dry weather for Tuesday. Light snow will be in the forecast through the rest of the work week.
