Tonight, the search continues for Greensburg, Kansas storm victims. So far at least eight people have lost their lives to a massive tornado, now classified an F5, which is the highest category on its scale.

Meteorologists of the National Weather Service said Friday night's tornado had wind estimated at 205mph, and carved a track 1.7 miles wide and 22 miles long.

The last tornado of this kind happened back on May 3, 1999, in Oklahoma City. Thirty-six people were killed.

This big weekend storm system is expected to track east over the next several hours. Forecast models are predicting showers and thunderstorms to finally hit West Michigan as early as late Monday night, and thunderstorms could stay in the forecast until Thursday.
