Thompson going to trial for Tyo murder

ALLEGAN (Newschannel 3) - The man who police say killed Troy Tyo is going to trial on murder charges.

Tyo disappeared in early December last year, and nearly a week later, hunters found his body in his burned out truck.

During a preliminary hearing on Friday, a Allegan Co. District Court judge ruled that there is enough evidence to send Kristopher Thompson to trial.

Thompson is married to Tyo's ex-wife, Dena, who is also facing charges in connection to the murder.
