Group urging governor to act in global warming

WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A coalition of environmental groups looking to fight global warming is calling on Governor Granholm to take action.


A group called Clean Energy Now is holding several news conference across the state including here in West Michigan.


They plan to ask the governor to fight global warming by using executive branch authority to crackdown on CO2 emissions.


The group will be at Winter Hall at Grand Valley State University at 11:30 Tuesday morning, then on Alcott Street between Burdick and Portage in Kalamazoo at 2:30.
