2nd arrest in child porn photography case
BATTLE CREEK (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police have arrested a second suspect in a child pornography investigation.
Two men are now facing multiple charges stemming from child pornography.
Twenty-year-old Timothy Mierop of Battle Creek was arraigned Monday on 50 counts of possession of using a computer to commit a crime.
He was arrested over the weekend as part an investigation stemming from September when the mother of two young girls found one of his friends allegedly taking nude photos of her four and 7-year-old daughters.
That friend is 28-year-old David Mccorkle. He's charged with taking 25 naked pictures and also fondling the girls.
This all happened in Pennfield Township.
David McCorkle was scheduled for a preliminary hearing Tuesday, but it was adjourned to a later date.
