The application may get hung up if the local computer goes to sleep or a screen saver comes on from inactivity. This is a problem with the operating system and network connection. Sometimes opening a browser and forcing the system to re-connect to the Internet works to get things going again. Make sure you follow step number one listed below to force News 3 Now to "refresh".
News 3 Now may take up to 2-3 minutes to actually acquire new data and render the graphics. So give the application a few minutes to display the fresh data. (Modem users may have a slightly longer delay.)
If the data does not refresh after 5 minutes, and the machine is powered up and connected to the Internet, please notify support@trueweather.com
Occasionally the NWS (National Weather Service) network is subject to outages and maintenance. During these times you may experience a lack of fresh data feeds. One way to over come this is by selecting a different reporting station as a data source. Click the “menu” button and select ”options”. The reporting station selection can be changed at the bottom right hand side of the window.
