Internship Agreement

Candidate must be either a junior or senior at an approved college or university, and must be at least 18 years of age.

Candidate must have a declared major, a direct interest in a broadcast career field, and maintain an overall 3.0 grade point average (GPA).

Interns are not considered employees of WWMT and are not eligible to receive any benefits. There is no promise of future employment.

Any work to be done under this agreement is for educational advancement, and is of mutual benefit to the intern and WWMT.

The intern is required to receive credit from a college or university for successful completion of this internship.

Any materials created by the intern under this Agreement shall remain the sole property of WWMT, to be used as WWMT personnel may decide, without any compensation.

This internship will begin on or about _____________________, and will end on __________________. WWMT reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, and should that happen, the college or university shall be notified immediately.

The intern will file a written report on the internship experience with the WWMT onsite supervisor on the last day of the internship, to be endorsed and forwarded to the faculty adviser or internship coordinator, along with an evaluation by the WWMT onsite supervisor.

The intern must have the approval of his/her college or university, as indicated by their signature and the signature of their adviser below.
