CALIFORNIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Think the job market is tough now? Just wait.
Silicon Valley is recruiting whiz kids as summer interns.

Children as young as 13 are learning at top computer companies while earning hundreds or even thousands of dollars a week.

Planet Argon is a web startup in Portland, Oregon and just one of several companies jumping on this bandwagon.

According to Bloomberg.com, technology companies are now trying to get an edge by looking out for younger talent and hiring interns out of high school since more people are getting into technology at an earlier age.
