DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for our Indiana bordering counties of Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch.  It doesn't mean it won't be foggy there!  The combination of yesterday evening's rainfall, light winds while you were sleeping, and our unusually cool airmass is a near perfect recipe for visibilities under a mile and perhaps as low as 1/4 mile.  This is enough to change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning, and slow it down if you can.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather!

Violence between Israel, Hamas showing no signs of lessening story image

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The violence between Israel and Hamas is showing no signs of letting up.

Israel has launched more than 1,000 airstrikes on Hamas targets in Gaza this week, possibly killing more than 100 people.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been in touch with President Obama and other world leaders, but says he will not cave in to international pressure to stop the military offensive in the Gaza strip.

Meanwhile, Hamas militants are firing more rockets into Israel, and are now threatening to target Israel's airport.
