Google settles in spying lawsuit

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Google is paying millions of dollars to settle a lawsuit over spying on people's personal data.

Attorneys General in dozens of states sued, claiming Google used its company cars to download personal data over Wi-Fi networks that were not password protected.

Google agreed to pay $7-million to settle this so-called "Wi-Spy" case.
