NORTH KOREA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - North Korea is stepping up hostilities Friday morning after already making a nuclear threat against the U.S.
North Korea has now canceled a hotline connecting it with South Korea, as well as a peace treaty between the two countries.
This is all in response to a U.N. Security Council vote approving new sanctions against the communist nation over its third nuclear test.
Thursday North Korea threatened a preemptive nuclear strike against the U.S. if it followed through with those sanctions.
