Navy wants to stop commercial flights to Guantanamo

Updated: Friday, March 22 2013, 10:11 AM EDT
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - There's some anger Friday morning over the U.S. Navy's decision to stop commercial flights to Guantanamo.

Lawyers for the 25 detainees still being held there say it cuts off their access to their clients.

A spokesperson for the base says the commercial flights were violating air base regulations.

They say lawyers, journalists and the Red Cross can still fly to the base on the weekly military transport.
