A unique set of 'newborn' photos

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We all know how special newborn photos can be.

Now, a funny twist to the tradition has gone viral.

A photo caption says, "Here's my sweet not-so-little newborn! His name is Latrell and weighs 112 pounds."

The woman behind the photo is a professional photographer.

She recently adopted 13-year-old Latrell and was sad because she didn't have any newborn photos of him.

Then, her 12-year-old daughter suggested staging a newborn photo shoot featuring her new teenaged brother.

They hope this sheds more light on the serious topic of adopting older children.
