Arizona man invents in-garage car wash

Updated: Friday, March 22 2013, 12:18 AM EDT
PHOENIX, Ariz. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - So, where do you get your car washed?

A gas station? Full-service wash? Do you do it yourself in your driveway?

How about your very own car wash in your garage?

"It will lower a curtain; forms a completely waterproof enclosure around your car," explained Auto Green Wash inventor Dale Retter. "Then the computer will turn on five sprayers at a time, go through a sequence for 48 rotating sprayers, the sprayers will spray hot water."

Retter's Auto Green Wash captures used water for home irrigation and warm, filtered air in the roof of the unit dries the car.

He's hoping to start installing the car washes soon, but at $33,000, it could clean out your bank account.
