The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  2" to 6" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph bringing lake effect snow bands near and across US 131, at times.  Some locations will see more than 6", especially closer to Lake Michigan.  Roads are slippery and become more tricky once the sun sets.

Bald eagle rescued in Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A bald eagle is now safe after being rescued and it was all caught on camera.

The bird was found on the side of an Oregon highway this week.

His leg was broken when he was hit by a car.

Emergency crews were able to catch the eagle and take him to a vet.

The vet says that the eagle is suffering from partial paralysis, but is stable.
