NEWINGTON, Conn. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - People in Connecticut packed gun stores Tuesday following the bipartisan gun control agreement reached by state lawmakers on Monday.
The legislation was passed in light of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.
The agreement will ban the sale of large-capacity ammunition magazines and more than 100 new types of guns.
Gun stores say people loaded up on ammunition and tried to get their hands on anything semi-automatic.
