WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

Through 8 am

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the following counties in West Michigan, effective until 8 am Friday: Barry, Calhoun, and Eaton. Pockets of freezing drizzle may make hazardous driving conditions in the Advisory area, particularly on less-traveled, rural roads. The freezing drizzle is expected to end shortly before daybreak. Because of the potential for slick spots on area roads, drivers all around West Michigan should use a little more caution on this morning's commute.

Family will not sue nursing home over relative
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The family of a California woman who died after a nurse refused to give her CPR says it will not sue the facility she was staying in.

Lorraine Bayless's relatives say the 87-year-old specifically chose Glenwood Gardens in Bakersfield knowing it did not have medical staff, as she did not want to be resuscitated.

Late Tuesday night, the company that operates the facility says the employee who refused to cooperate with a 911 dispatcher and perform CPR misinterpreted policy.
