FAST FEEDBACK: Restaurant discounts?

Updated: Tuesday, February 5 2013, 07:35 PM EST
POULSBO, Wash. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - In the wake of a receipt controversy over a pastor outraged by an automatic gratuity at an Applebees comes another receipt story with a much different ending.

A user on the Internet forum Reddit submitted a photo of a receipt from a recent restaurant trip which was going viral, due to the presence of a $4 discount for "well behaved kids."

Another user stepped up to claim that the receipt was theirs, and they were out as a family of 5--with kids aged 2, 3, and 8--to a restaurant in northwest Washington state.

The user also posted a blog entry about the response to the photo, after it made its way from Reddit to Huffington Post and even to MSN.

The user added that they doubted that it was official policy, and another user claimed that it was a random act of kindness.

The photo of the receipt has prompted an ongoing conversation online regarding whether or not restaurants should engage in such tactics to discourage unruly behavior of children.

That brings us to tonight's FAST FEEDBACK.

Do you think that a restaurant should offer a discount for well-behaved kids?
