WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Jesse Jackson Junior admitted to using hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign funds for personal use.

The former Illinois Congressman pleaded guilty in a Washington, D.C. courtroom Wednesday morning.

His wife, Sandra, also faces charges.

They admitted to spending $750,000 to buy luxury items like a $43,000 Rolex watch.

Jackson spent 17 years in Congress, but he took a leave of absence last summer, and entered treatment for bi-polar disorder.

He and his wife face several years in prison.
