LA high school student asks Kate Upton to prom

LOS ANGELES (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Prom season is on the horizon and a California teen already knows who he'd like to accompany him on the dance floor--supermodel Kate Upton.

Jake Davidson of Los Angeles doesn't have a girlfriend, but it looks like after recording a video and posting to YouTube, he may have a date to his senior prom.

"You are the yin to my yang. I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day, and I can't dance at all," he said in the video. "You're Christian, 5'10", and that cat daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny."

150,000 people have seen the video, including Upton herself.

She tweeted Davidson, saying "how could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule."

Davidson says his curfew is 11:00, but his parents say they'd extend it if his date actually comes through.
