(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - There are several different styles of yoga and now a newer yoga technique to try and relieve stress is growing around the world.

It's called "Laughter Yoga." It was created in 1995 by a doctor in India. It combines sustained laughter with elements of yogic breathing.

Sessions start off with a brief warming-up period, followed by face exercises and laughter.

You're also encouraged to look into the eyes of other participants under the theory that laughter is contagious.

There are now over 6,000 "laughter clubs" in 60 countries according to Laughter Yoga International.
