DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for St. Joe and Branch counties until 10 AM.  Dense fog has already been observed in many cities in West Michigan including Kalamazoo.  The ADVISORY may be expanded to include more counties.  Burning off fog this time of year is tough thanks to a low sun angle.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.

BRANDON, Florida (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A Florida man is missing and police presume he's dead after a giant sinkhole opened under his bedroom in Florida.

It happened Thursday night in Brandon, Florida. That's just outside of Tampa.

People in the house said they heard what sounded like a car crashing into the home.

Jeremy Bush ran into the room to find the whole floor had fallen into the hole. Just part of his brother's mattress was visible.

He tried to save his brother, but couldn't reach him.

“Just to get closure I guess. Make sure he's not dead, see if he's alive. I know in my heart he's dead, but I just want to be here for him because I love him. He was my brother, man,” said Bush.

It's still too dangerous for search crews to go into the hole. Authorities say they worry the hole is still growing and that the house could collapse at any time.

They have also evacuated nearby homes.
