WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES

UNTIL 8 PM

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES remain for all of West Michigan for an accumulation of snow followed by sleet and freezing rain and even plain rain.  The ADVISORIES last until 8 PM everywhere save for Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch counties where the expiration time is 1 PM.  Snowfall ranges from 1" to 3" near and south of I-96 including Kalamazoo.  North of I-96, amounts may be greater in a range from 2" to 4".  Once snow transitions to freezing rain, ice accumulations of 1/10" perhaps upwards of 2/10" are possible.  Plus, secondary and back roads are likely to remain icy even when air temperatures reach the middle 30s this afternoon.  Please be careful traveling!

More victims could be uncovered in Kansas City explosion story image
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Authorities say there could still be more victims in the rubble of a Missouri restaurant.

There was a gas explosion Tuesday night at JJ's in Kansas City.

Searchers have recovered one body and worry there could be others.

15 people were injured.

The blast damaged several buildings surrounding the area as well.

Fire crews say there was an accident at a construction site about an hour before the blast, but the cause remains under investigation.
