Motive coming out in Newtown massacre

NEWTOWN, Conn. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – There is new information Tuesday morning on the deadly mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

CBS News has learned investigators looking into the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary may be closer to learning a motive. 

They've learned the 20-year-old gunman was obsessed with another mass murder in Europe.
