ORLANDO, Florida (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police continue to learn new information about a college student who planned to attack his classmates at the University of Central Florida.
Investigators say the 30-year-old was working off a checklist that included plans to get drunk, then pull a fire alarm and quote "give them hell."
But when he pulled a gun on his roommate the student got away and called police.
The suspect shot and killed himself inside his dorm room before police arrived.
Officers found two weapons along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a backpack filled with explosives.
They are still investigating.
