Okla. man caught stealing shoes

EDMOND, Okla. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man is facing charges in Edmond, Oklahoma, after he was caught on video stealing heels from a Target store.

The video shows 18-year-old Sylas Schmiedel walk into the store barefoot, and then strut out a few minutes later in a pair of $40 pumps.

Security caught him before he made it outside.

Schmiedel told police he stole the shoes to use in a drag show.
