Updated: Wednesday, March 20 2013, 06:23 PM EDT
LONDON (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Britain's Queen Elizabeth was out and about Wednesday after recovering from a stomach bug that put her in the hospital.

The Queen toured London's subway system, known to locals as the Tube.

She inspected a 19th century steam train and even got a lesson on how to drive one of the newest trains.

The visit was part of a celebration marking the system's 150th anniversary.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, joined the Queen during an unveiling of a plaque on a train named after her.

Kate even received a special pin that said 'Baby on Board,' which is given to pregnant passengers.
