WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - In Washington, republican members of the U.S. House have released a report on the deadly attack at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.
The report blames former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and others for the lack of security in Libya.
It cites a State Department cable saying Secretary Clinton acknowledged a request from the U.S. Ambassador to Libya asking for more security, but allowing for further reductions.
However, copies of the cable were not released to the public. Democrats say they were excluded from the investigation and that the report is politically motivated.
