Space-X launches supply mission to ISS

Updated: Saturday, March 2 2013, 12:11 AM EST
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - More supplies are on their way to the International Space Station, but this time it's not a NASA ship carrying them.

The private company Space-X launched its unmanned Falcon rocket from Cape Canaveral Friday morning.

On board the rocket is a capsule loaded with more than a ton of equipment and experiments for the crew at the space station.

This is the third supply run for Space X. The company has a billion dollar contract with NASA to deliver shipments to the space station.
