ERIN, Tenn. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A restaurant in Tennessee is trying to keep non-paying customers out.

They're now billing for the bathroom.

The owner of The Flood Zone, in Erin, Tennessee, says so many people were coming in to use her restroom that she couldn't keep up.

The restrooms are now clearly marked customers only, and they carry a $5 charge.

"It's a $5 charge to use the bathroom," owner Lisa Kent explained. "It wasn't so much in wanting the $5, it was to prove, to show them it's for customers only because of the messes that had been made in there."

Since word has gotten out about the restroom charge, the flood zone is paying the price.

The owner has answered countless harassing phone calls, and the small town is now receiving national attention.
