Tourist jumps from window to escape attacker in India

INDIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The scandal of sexual attacks against women in India continues.

Tuesday morning a British tourist says she had to jump from the third floor balcony of her hotel room after a man broke into her room. She fractured her leg during the escape.

This attack is only days after a Swiss tourist was gang-raped in central India. Six men have been arrested in that attack.

Outrage has ignited across country as the public protests the violence against following these attacks and the fatal gang-rape of a young woman on a bus in New Delhi back in December.
