DENSE FOG ADVISORY

UNTIL 10 AM

The National Weather Service issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for all of West Michigan until 10 AM.  Many reports of dense fog already exist, and your visibility may become worse before noticeable improvements.  Recent rainfall, high moisture levels, especially near the ground, and light winds all combine to create fog.  Slowing down and increasing your stopping distance are a few ways to increase your safety while driving.

TSA announces changes in allowable items story image
WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Next month, small knives, bats, and golf clubs will be allowed on planes.

The TSA made the announcement today.

Unions representing flight attendants and other airline workers say those items will just increase danger in the air.

The TSA counters, however, that armed pilots, federal air marshals and crew members with self-defense training will be able to protect against misuse of the items.
