WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Washington pastry chef is turning scientist during the Easter season.
Santosh Tiptur uses blowtorches, air brushes, and molds to create extraordinary Easter creations, including chocolate Easter bunnies, baby chicks, and, of course, eggs.
This year's masterpiece is a Wizard of Oz-themed chocolate display.
During the week before Easter, Tiptur spends as many as 18 hours a day working on the creations.
