DUNLAP, California (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Deputies are investigating a deadly lion attack in central California.

It happened at the Cat Haven Sanctuary in Dunlap about 45 miles east of Fresno.

Deputies say a 26-year-old volunteer intern was mauled to death when she entered the lion's enclosure.
