LOS ANGELES (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Some say that everything has a price, but what about the name of your child?

It's the million dollar question that all parents face--choosing the right name for your newborn.

One California woman is leaving that daunting task up to a complete stranger.

26-year-old Natasha Hill won a contest through the site BellyBallot.

The company allows family and friends to help select your baby's name, but another layer has been added, and the company is now paying Hill $5,000 to let people she doesn't even know make the choice for her.

The list of possibilities will be posted on March 18th, and voting closes March 22nd.
