MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Four people are in the hospital Monday morning, including three children.

A car slammed into their Amish buggy in Mecosta County.

M-Live is reporting the buggy was going down 5 Mile Road in Deerfield Township Sunday. That's when the horse pulling the buggy became startled and ran into oncoming traffic.

Deputies say a driver hit the buggy.

A 2-month-old, along with 9- and 10-year-old children, were injured in the crash.

A 35-year-old passenger in the buggy also went to the hospital.

There's no word yet on their conditions.
