Jackson Co. boy accidentally shoots, kills self

JACKSON COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The 4-year-old son of a Jackson County deputy is dead after he accidentally shot and killed himself.
First responders arrived to the scene on South Jackson Road in Jackson around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to MLive, the young boy was at home with his mother when it happened; the deputy was on his way to work when he got the call.
The boy was taken to Allegiance Health in Jackson, where he was pronounced dead.
