LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A possible new statewide teacher evaluation system could take effect in time for the next school year.
The chairwoman of the Michigan Council for Educator Effectiveness recently updated the House Education Committee on the council's work.
More than a dozen districts are testing one of four evaluation tools.
Feedback from the districts, along with the council's research, will be part of a final recommendation expected in June.
